1. Main Structure of the Blade
a. Progressively Thicker Rod Sections: Tip section > Middle section > Handle section. Upon impact, the blade is retained by the thicker sections, preventing slippage towards the hand.
b. 360° Rotating Guard: A rotating alloy guard is installed at the front end of the handle. It protects the palm from all angles during blocks.
2. Deployment and Locking (Safety First)
a. Three-Section Deployment: Retracted, it measures approximately 20 to 36 cm; deployed, approximately 67 to 102 cm, balancing portability with blocking reach.
b. Optimized Center of Gravity: The center of gravity is located in the middle of the central section, ensuring balanced control and easy handling for beginners.
3. Ergonomics and Multifunctionality
a. Non-Slip Texture / Silicone Grip: Does not slip, even when wet; comfortable for prolonged use.
b. Tungsten Steel Glass Breaker Tip: For breaking windows in an emergency or striking hard objects.
An extendable baton is considered a regulated weapon in many countries (including France). Its possession and transport can be strictly controlled or even prohibited without a legitimate reason.
Materials:
4142 Chrome-Molybdenum Alloy Steel (recommended for heavy machinery): features exceptional tensile strength and impact resistance. After tempering, it exhibits an HRC hardness of 55 to 58, resists cutting and slashing blows, and does not easily deform.
Quality Control:
Impact Resistance Test: Ability to withstand pressure ≥ 8,000 N and remain intact after 150 consecutive impacts on the guard.
Mechanism Lifespan: ≥ 10,000 deployment cycles; absence of lock loosening and smooth opening and closing movements.
Drop / Crush Test: Resistance to a one-meter free fall and retention of functionality after being crushed by a vehicle.
